Part-time Social Media Manager

In this role you will manage several social media accounts and create content for these accounts. You will report to the owner of Synergy Creative Agency (SCA) and will assist in keeping the social media calendars up-to-date to ensure clients have consistent posts on their accounts. This role is a good fit if you are detail-oriented, driven, organized, a problem-solver, and a self-starter.


Hybrid or fully remote


Contracted position, part time


Must have a laptop, access to reliable wifi, and be available for weekly phone calls.

  • Create month-by-month content calendars for clients

  • Create or find post visuals

  • Write on-brand captions

  • Do and implement hashtag research

  • Gather content for, and create, Instagram reels

  • Adapt to trends, best practices, and developments in social media and continuously improve your accounts' social presence

  • Pull together monthly analytic reports

  • Occasionally participate in client SM scheduling meetings


  • Experience with content management and performance-to-impact analysis of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

  • Demonstrate proficiency and experience with Canva

  • Working knowledge of social media management tools such as Plann

  • Proficiency in using project management systems such as Asana
